Game 7 Vancouver Canucks Vs. Chicago Blackhawks

Hey guys, just thought I would put up a quick post about the Vancouver/Chicago game tomorrow.  I provided a link that talks about Luongo getting the go ahead to be the starter in net for game 7.  He has been playing below par the last couple of games, so hopefully by him knowing that his coach and team are behind him that might get him back to form.  Espn.com has a lot of great info about the NHL playoffs so if you are interested feel free to browse around the NHL section on their website.   http://espn.go.com/nhl/

Just a few things to preview this game 7.  Bryan Bickell had surgery today to repair a tendon in his wrist, therefore he will miss game 7.  Many of you might not think that is a big loss, but his play in the playoffs has helped the blackhawks win 3 straight.  He has 2 goals and 2 assists in the series, while being injured in game 2 and missing game 3.

The defending stanley cup champions found themselves 3 games down in a 7 game series.  They have since won 3 straight...2 of those pretty easily.  They clearly have momentum going into game 7.  Although in my opinion...I think they will fall short in their bid to repeat as champs.  I'm just going to say that most of the Canucks took a vacation after winning game 3.  Sure the Hawks have come out and played well, but it's no secret Vancouver started to think about the next round.  Which is why I believe they have woken up and are ready for game 7.  Remember....the Canucks won the Presidents trophy, and while Luongo may be slumping....he is a finalist for the Vezina trophy.

Ultimately, this isnt the same Chicago Blackhawks.  They are inexperienced when it comes to game sevens, with only 4 players on their roster ever playing in a game 7.  Toews has yet to score a goal in the series, and they have to play in Vancouver.  Sure they have a chance....but if we are being honest...I give this series to the Vancouver Canucks.

Agree...Disagree?  Thoughts?  Don't care?  Tell me what you think!

Below is the link for the video talking about Roberto Luongo.  Check it out!!
